Tobago is truly a paradise for bird watching:

Would you like to see the colorful Mot Mot bird or the “King of the Woods”? What about the Ground Dove or the Mountain Dove, the Blue Jean and Humming Birds in their glory? The National Bird, Cocrico?

Tobago itself has over 60 different species of birds in its natural habitats. birds like the Scarlet Ibis, which is rarely seen in Tobago, Trinidad Mot-Mot, Black-Bellied Whistling Duck, 5 of 6 species of Hummingbirds, Least Grebe, Common Teal and much more.

Get involved with feeding the birds and take a nature walk to see other endangered animals such as Iguana, Orange Winged Amazon parrot and more. Taste the local fruits as we walk through the Tropical Garden.

Bird viewing will take place early in the morning (before dawn) or later in the afternoon before sunset. Please state at your reservation which tour you prefer.

We will bring you to the beautiful protected Tropical Rain Forest, and from there we will select one or more trails. This will give us enough time to discover and to enjoy the beautiful variety of tropical birds here in Tobago. We will not only guide you to see birds only. On our way, we will show you one of the many hidden gems in the rain forest: Beautiful trees, little plants, insects and animals!

This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
