The backbone of Tobago, the Main Ridge Rain forest.

The Forest Reserve is home to flora and fauna, which provides habitats for a number of mammals, lizards, birds, and many more creatures. However, you can choose whichever trail that appeals to you. While taking a relaxing stroll through the forest you can capture the most amazing and interesting photos of our wildlife.

Well Trained Guide

Our trained guides will be with you during your Rain Forest Tour. Explaining all the history, the animals, and plants, you will have a great time! Learn and discover what Tobago Rain Forest has to offer. Spend either half a day or a full day exploring and observing the secrets of the forest. Learn the history behind it all:
The hundreds of different species of animals living there,
What happened after Hurricane Flora in 1963,
How our forest reserve is protected by UNESCO.
 
Your tour guide will take his/her time to show you around and to answer your questions. The rain forest has many beautiful scenes and is ideal for taking incredible pictures! Depending on the weather conditions, and your booking choice, your tour guide will choose a trail for you. If you have any request, please tell us in advance.

What do I need to bring?
Our rainforest hikes on trails and through all kinds of terrain. Because we are going for a walk in the rainforest we recommend you to bring the following items:
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunscreen/hat
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • If in the rainy seasons, we recommend wearing rubber shoes
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Binoculars
  • Video Camera/Camera
  • Light snacks
